I installed the preview the other day, not a really big fan. Once more metro apps are available i'll probably enjoy it more. I don't really understand why people are so gutted about the loss of the start menu though, I hardly ever use it. If I do, I just use the search feature (which i'm guessing is still there in 8).

I just don't think it's efficient at mouse and keyboard input. Absolutely fantastic for touch-screens though I wonder if we need such huge elements on larger screens with higher resolutions.

I also don't think OSX is efficient at it, either. I'm rather picky with my UIs. I prefer the traditional GNOME layout over KDE, but I don't like how GNOME does some things and I like some of the features KDE has. I think Android is a pile of garbage with its UI, it can't decide what to do with itself...and I'm not even talking about the skinned versions used by manufacturers, either.

So yeah. UX is a big thing for me.

Part of his point is that a bunch of the hate seems to stem from a pre-concieved prejudice towards Microsoft OS's not necessarily because the OS is actually good or bad :P

Most of us have used Windows 8 Release Preview or an earlier version, so it's not like we're just pulling this out of our asses. In any case, it's a stupid thing to get mad over.

Is that an antec 300? You know you can reroute the cables through the back, right?

Throughout the years I did many modifications and couldn't be bothered to put everything properly back in.

That's an Antec 300 but without cable extensions it still wouldn't be enough to rerouter everything through the back...but in the end it doesn't matter anyway. Still never overheated and the temperature idles perfectly fine.

I don't like the case (the LEDs in the front fans I have form the shape of the swastika...my fault though on buying the wrong ones xD) and after I get my new one , I will make sure everything will look properly.

If temps and performance are fine, then fuck cable management. It's just a pain in the ass. However, it does prevent loose cable from moving around and hitting an open fan.
