Also, I think I was out of the picture during this time, but what was the deal with Hypothermia? I remember playing the beta and being less than impressed at the time. What was the main draw of that map/what was planned but never made it in?

KiLLa (who also recruited me into CE) had it a it's testmap. That map's animations, vehicles and weapons were groundbreaking when it was in development, and pretty much everything the community does today grew out of what was learned in the creation of that map.
