Yep just picked up the game and the exporter does not work with Max 9. Pretty frustrating since I've been working like crazy on my map to try and get it ready to go in-game once I got the editing kit. Hopefully someone can make a max 9 exporter soon.

It shouldn't be to hard to upgrade BlueStreak since most of the information is documented.

I heard it came with format specifications. The first thing I'm going to do when I get it is write a Maya Exporter, maybe 3ds max 9, but right now I only have 8.

I just downloaded the free trial for 3ds Max 9 ..... I couldn't find any lower versions

Is there any other way to get my map data exported out?

This may be a very old topic but I just saw it, use Chimp 1.6 with 3ds max 9.
