Initialization Error

I stop playing for a week, and look what happens. Everything was running fine for the longest time, then I tried playing yesterday and got this error.

Initialization failed. Either insufficient resources were found...

My specs easily meet the requirements, I've been running pretty solid for the past few weeks. AMD Opteron 165 Dual Core, 2 GB Corsair XMS, Radeon x1900xtx 512MB. Just lately the game has been unable to run. I've tried reinstalling about three times now, no success.

Any thoughts?

when you tried re installing did you see if any registry settings were left behind before you reinstalled?
