I made a map, got 16 player spawnpoints, 8 red, 8 blue, i also got spawnzones and respawnzones with a height, weight and name. Everything else spawns like it should but every now and then i spawn as red on the blue base/spawn-points/zone. Is that a spawnzone-bug or am i missing something?
Were you playing with other people, perhaps?
Halo 2 automatically recognizes that players from other teams are near your teams spawn points, so it finds a somewhat safer place to put you.
In other words, it will violate your Spawn zones expected rules. If you would like to fix this, just add more than 8, and hope that they are close enough to the base area, yet far away enough to not be affected by an enemy player.

When you placed your first red spawn did you click somewhere so your last blue spawn was unselected? That could be the problem because it would've changed it to a red spawn when you selected red.
An easy way to go over it, is to re-do all the spawn points.
If you don't want to do that, double click each spawn point in the hirearchy and make sure none managed to find their way on the other side. Or perhaps spawn points that were left with an old attribute.
