always had problems with sleep on any windows OS we've ever had, my dad uses some alternative hibernate functions or someshit.
pretty similar but doesnt seem to break the OS
Re: Windows 7 launch day is finally here
You can set which Hardware should not go into sleep mode. Most of the time it was the Hardware's fault and not the OS.
Re: Windows 7 launch day is finally here
'tis awesome, I definitely wont be downgrading.

Why did they remove the mini mode taskbar toolbar for WMP?

Re: Windows 7 launch day is finally here
I kinda like WMP12, but it seems to use more CPU power than WMP11. I currently use Foobar 2000.

I heard a lot of good things about Foobar. If you want something visually nice but DX and RAM overkill go for the Zune software.

You can make foobar look like anything you want - http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/9638/84262536.jpg
I used fooava as a base and changed a few things on on my own to make it look how i want.
Only fully functioning player I've used that is this versatile.
Uses <2% cpu and 68,000 k at all times
