Um dude there was only one released version...
Also what you do is download the haloce and pc 1.07 .exe then start up with that .exe. then once in game use console and type in version 1.08 or version 1.80ce for CE. Then there you go you can use any 1.07 app and play on any 1.08 server.

I make my own game, no yelo battery menu. I try to use FOV enhancement, nothing happens. And when going into to 3rd person, it either does nothing, or crashes the game.
And sometimes, it shows me the halo PC games, then when I type in version 1.08, it shows the halo PC 1.08 severs, but not the CE ones.
1) Download 1.07.613
2) Start the 1.07.613 exe you just downloaded
3) When you type "version" it should say that your EXECUTABLE VERSION is 1.07 !!!!!!!
4) Type 108ce to change version. NOT 108!! Use the CE postfix when playing on CE.
It realy isn't that hard...

are you in-match trying to press F7 or are you just in the main menu? I thought it wasn't working until I joined a game. I also redownloaded Battery anyway, just to be sure.
I thought it's just activate when I made game or joined one, I downloaded mine from the yelo website, and there were no readmes or anything that said how to open the menu/what key to press.
Just played a game on version 1.00 haha... There were more people online there (150) than on 1.08 (60). :downs:

Anyhoo, back on topic.. great app :D However, I still can't get widescreen mode to work w/ Yelo Battery release 3 even after rereading the whole thread. I copied the modded strings.dll file and ran halo (haloce107.exe) with a switch ( -vidmode 1680,1050,60 ) to get it to run at my desktop resolution but I don't know if maybe i'm doing anything else wrong. I've confirmed that the modified 'd3d9.dll' file yelo consists of is in my 'halo custom edition' folder. Other than that, everything else I've thrown at it works. Thanks again :D

it could be because these programs are looking for haloce.exe and your running halo107.exe
try renaming it so its like the normal haloce.exe

Excuse my bumpage, but I cannot get this to work properly. I uninstalled CE, reinstalled 1.00, updated it to 1.07, and then downloaded the modified Strings.dll on this page.
When I replace the Strings.dll file, it messes up CE. It still runs, but not right. It acts like I have a super-low quality video card, and parts of the menu are messed up. Have a look:
Missing quit button
Missing pic
Terrible graphics
Severly limited video options
If I revert the Strings.dll back to the original, everything works fine.
Any help would be appreciated.

Version changer has some bugs. Sometimes it messes up and sets it to the lowest quality video settings. Normally restarting Halo CE fixes it. That's the only reason I got rid of it and decided 1.07 apps wasn't worth the problems.
I've tried to run it at least 20 times now. The same thing happens every time.
I only had the problem every once and awhile. Don't know why your's is bugging out.
ive run into the same problem, same symptoms and all, but i always thought it was because i was running CE through steam....

I've never had that problem with Version Changer.
Before I had it, I would get that problem sometimes, dosent seem to be doing anything now.
Halo looks the same way if you run it in Safe mode, so maybe it has something to do with that.
