What m00k asked. Also, what kind of fucked up Congress would allow this? Hopefully the Supreme Court hasn't been bought out to forget the 4th Amendment yet.
Barack's been too busy acting like some renegade hero of the universe to realize that there's a world economy currently in the shitter. We get it, you're trying to be different. Just remember: total uniqueness is the quickest way to get your ass replaced with someone who will do the job right.
Edit: I just realized that posting something to him from here is stupid. Sorry. To redeem myself, I suggest we do his job for him by raping our Congressmen with this idea:
Give every current taxpayer over the age of 50 $1 million, tax free. Then, these people must...
1. Immediately retire. These openings will create approximately 40 million jobs in the United States.
2. Either immediately pay off their mortgage or buy a new house altogether. This solves the bank/real estate problem.
3. Buy an American car. This solves the car company problem.
On average, this leaves people with around $750,000 per person to spare. This means that they will not require social security, and they (SS) can save their money until the gap is closed. All of this for about 1/20000th the price of our current plan.

It's not really having illegal materials that makes this act bring my piss to a boil. It's more that this is the latest and greatest way for the government to take away another one of our rights. First it's searching digitally for no reason, then it's public searching IRL for no reason, then finally private home searching for the hell of it. It's a simple cause/effect problem. If people give leniency for something, then people in the future will be more inclined to give leniency for even more, and so on. For something like this, we can make no exceptions. You can crack down on pirates all you want, but not at the cost of my constitutional rights, assholes.

Also, saying ahh well, they already do it isn't helping. They are just going to continue doing it and walking all over you. Its the whole reason they are even doing it in the first place is because people don't stand up for their rights anymore.

People "aren't standing up for their rights" because it doesn't feel like we have to. For a vast majority of us, there aren't SWAT teams breaking into our homes and taking our computers away. So we don't care/don't care enough to go RAWR RAWR RAWR. Besides, I still think you guys are blowing this waaay out of proportion.
Also, saying ahh well, they already do it isn't helping. They are just going to

It may not be helping, but getting riled up about it also doesn't help because they already do it anyway. Real problem is PATRIOT Act IMO.
