1 year ago today I was able to see my family once again after nine long weeks of BCT.
1 year ago today I registered with h2vista.net and said hello once again to my internet peeps.
To celebrate today, I give you all beta releases of H2Kornman00 and H2Tool++.
Remember I said beta.
The modified H2Guerilla is still limited in some areas, for various reasons (ie the tag is unstable, gui doesn't fully work, etc), but this should give you PLENTY of leeway for making the most of your maps with new effects and other goodies. I got the sound tag editor playing the sounds now, but it won't play the WMA encoded sounds so I'm trying to get that setup for the final.
The modified H2Tool doesn't visually appear to be changed from end-user eyes, but some changes where made to the way it build map files for a future feature\tool. It doesn't include anything that the final will have (importing physics, sounds, etc).
Many things still in the works, but this is just to give you a small taste of the future.
To "install", just place them where ever you have a tags folder. They should be self contained as long as you have previously installed the editing kit that came with the game.

Bug report: I can't open ceratin tags at the same time - if I open a .scenario i have to close and reopen guerrilla to open a .scenario_structure_bsp.
This may because of my own experimenting - when I try to run tool (only tried lightmaps and build-cache-file) I get this error: "The system cannot find message text for message number 0x2336 in the message file for application."

thats because both of those tags have so many fucking fields that it wreaks havoc on the resource system

you cant realy do that good a custom models in H2V last time I checked, so unless jahrain has a beter converter, you'll be left with vehicle mods, like mb attach 30 turrets to a warthog in the .model file lol

You need to change all the directories just like in halo 1. Only for halo 2 the warthog's tags are in the shared map file along with all the other vehicles.
