Exclamation Sierra, the first Halo 2 vista Machinima Series...

Now, I might require a little introduction seeing as this is my first post. I'm basically a guy from Iceburg Inc / The Maw looking for a cast to shoot a machinima I've been working on for months. I have experience, so don't judge me for some random noob who wants to make a movie, I know what I'm doing.
Now, to start things off. If you can't already tell the series is called Sierra. It's a drama for Halo 2 vista that I've been writing for months. I'll pitch the plot at you pretty quick, though I'm not going to give you an ending (as it would ruin it).

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
After the elite victory over the brutes and prophets in 2553 the covenant began to dig more into scientific fact about the forerunners. After discovering the truth about Halo and the forerunner history, they discover that humanity is basically repeating the early stages of what the forerunners did to create the flood. And the basic design of Halo itself. After several warnings to stop specific area's of forerunner like tests the covenant decided that the only way to stop history from repeating itself was to stop humanity by controlling the species through force.

The covenant begin praying on human settlements, this time without the religious propaganda holding them back the covenant were much more effective in invasions on human territory. Several key human planets were quickly lost as the covenant already knew there location.

The Spartan IV and V quickly began to start. By 2590 the Spartan IV's took action, they were even more proficiently trained than the original Spartan II's. Only ten years later came the Spartan V model. The only difference was that these models were produced by the several hundreds. Many different training planets and models took forum, and by 2600 there were almost 1000 Spartans on the field.

The war began to take a turn. The covenant armada far superior to the human force, but the humans Spartans crushed the covenant in any land battle. The war would have been a stail mate if not for the endless amount of covenant population.

In 2603 the covenant launched their attack on Sanctuary, the modern Reach. Hundreds of ships and Spartans are set to the site. A small eight man squad, Sierra team was dispatched to the sector for a high priority mission to invade the covenant lead ship. However the capital ship they road on was shot down over the planet. The team is able to escape using lifeboats and drop pods. But now, with the cities in ruins and the fleets in tatters, how will the sierra team and the thousands of other troops on the surface escape?
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Dum Dum Dum. If you want to read the actual episodes they're in a flash on the bottom. Be warned, it's 98 pages and sixteen episodes. The story is better than that cheesy backdrop, the characters are detailed and the plot is gripping. But now, it's time to get down to what I came here for.

I need a cast, a big one. Also I need several specific maps that are likely never going to be made by the community at random (if you want to map I can send you my basic idea for a set, but I like creativity so it will mostly be your ideas). Also, the first scene takes a small amount of CGI effects, I also need someone to do that. I have most of my main voice actors established but I could use anyone who would like to voice act for the simple reason that I probably have upwards of 30 random characters that need voices.

This is a huge project, and it will turn out perfect if my group can get some help. So please, lend me a hand.

Episodes: Here These have not been checked for spelling and grammar o_o

Dude nice story you've there.I agreed with you. You're definetly not a NOOB.
And think this is a great idea, with the right map maker the story can get really REAL.

I don't know if will be taking part in this, maybe as for some non-important character or a person with a walk-on..

But If I have TIME I can edit the whole thing when I get my new computer.
I'm currently using Sony Vegas 4.0 but will upgrade to 7.0 and Adobe After Affects as well.

Thanks for the positive reinforcement. My editor is going off to collage so I've been in need of a new one.

I was hoping Machinima would come to H2V, the videos will look so much better and have better locations and content being on the PC. If you are looking for puppets/dummys/actors. I can provide a body, I'll be getting H2V asap, and I have a good Mic aswell (and a sexy voice I might add, If you need one). I also know all the techniques used for Machinima on the Xbox. Good luck with your series

I've just got done reading Part 1, "Into the Frey", and Part 2 "Walk the Line", and I thought it was asome. But i have a few questions . One, is the senses happen all in one map? Two, Are all the crusier vehicles u can drive? Three, if the crusiers are vehicles, how r they able to move without kill the people inside? Four, r the covented in the film Ai's or players? Five, r u still looking for actors? Finally, when do u expect part 1 & 2 done? BTW: i would love to be an actor but i have stinking Dail-up . At least u have another suppoter.

How the hell did you find this topic? It's last post was some time in May. You should have posted on their forums instead of bumping this.

Hey, I'm cool with the bump. I was quite shocked to find it up here. We're doing this with arkane productions, I group I made myself. We are also moving to Halo 3, to make it simpler, and there has been a few edits with the script since then, here are the most updated versions. They will be updated even more as soon as I get more details on Halo 3 maps, but consider these to be the final lines and what not.

Part I - Into the Fray
Part II - Walk The Line
    Part III - The Garage
    Part IV - Left Behind
Part V - Ready The Guns
    Part VI - The Tower
Part VII - Echoes of the past
Part VIII - Caught In the Act
    Part IX - Unexpected Guest
Part X - Penny for the Guard
Part XI - You said that Last Round
Part XII - The Meeting Room
Part XIII - The End of the Begining
    Part XIV - We're In
    Part XV - Welcome Mat
    Part XVI - Cry Wolf

The ending needs a redo, seeing as Halo 3 won't have a cruiser, it will take some brainpower but the ending will be re done. As for the rest of the environments, setting isn't as necessary as it sounds for the majority of the episodes, I can easily switch from a city battle to a beach battle with little or no problems.
