glitchy video

i wasnt sure where else to put this... but when ever i look either up or down while using a mouse, the screen jumps. when i use a 360 controller it still does this, but not as noticably. it makes the game basically unplayable. any suggestions or does anyone else have this problem?

Did you check your fps? Shouldn't be too high, 60-70 will do.

ok my computer specs are;
2 gigs RAM
EVGA 680i sli motherboard
intel core 2 duo E6700 2.66ghz overclocked
EVGA 8800GTX gfx card
soundblaster x-fi extreme gamer

make sure that you have all uneeded programs closed
make sure you dont have any viruses
make sure you have uac disabled
make sure that you have the newest video drivers

yeah im a computer geek so i have done all that, and nothing really seems to help. i guess halo 2 vista just doesnt like vista

Seriously check your fps, with those specs you could have a fps of 150+ (?) that'll make the game stutter. Set all videosettings higher or at highest to lower the fps.

haha theyre all already as high as i can make them. and that would explain why my friend who has a slightly lower end computer runs it perfectly
