its up as high as i can make it. my screen isnt that great. im upgrading soon. i just downloaded vista service pack 1 beta, and the problem isnt as bad now, but still pretty unplayable

yeah so i just ran halo 2 with fraps.... my lowest frame rate was about 97. everything else was well above that, averaging around 140-150. you think getting a new monitor and upping the resolution would help? right now im stuck and 768 x 1024

Those frame rates seem quite high to me. MIne are basicly stuck at 60fps at full settings and i have no lag/glitches.
