Joining Games on halo 2 vista..

Does anybody know why I cant join like some of the games out there?



I don't know what the problem is, but i have a pretty decent computer and good internet (dsl, lol)

If you do know, can you tell me what ports to forward? if there are any?

they are all servers, hmmmmmmm...

if he did have a fake, the live button (on the main menu) would be greyed out and he wouldn't be able to click on it. he has a legit copy.

Don't own a copy of H2v nor do I have vista, so thanks for pointing that out.

Uh what does it say when you try to join...if you did try.

yes, its a legit copy.

and when i try to join it says i cant join the party at the moment, probably because i dont have a good connection to the server (the white bars by the server name)

and those aren't all the games available, i just didn't feel like taking a big screen-shot

i get that sometimes when i try to join a friends game whie another is loading. Idk if that helps. Im pretty sure it has something to do with ur firewall. Make sure u give Halo 2 full permissions everywhere (in the 'subscription company firewall' and in 'windows defender').

no, the only files i modify are the maps (i delete them)

and how would i go about giving it full permissions?
