Custom animations would be nice at least, if your going to rip the weapon models. Or at least tweak the ripped animations so they point at the reticle, and seem to fit the FOV.
The whole point of the project is to recreate as much of the level as physically possible. Visually. Weapons really aren't much of my concern. Which is why I could care less if the weapons are ripped, it will have no effect on game play, and with Choking's shader skills and CAD's effect skills it will have no visual difference either. Again my only concern is getting the scenery and BSP so look as exact as possible. No more discussion of ripped content.
