We already have a mauler.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of gameplay does a single mauler add compared to a shotgun? I mean, it can be used as it is in Halo3, but Halo1's melee is a bit funky in comparison. Not only that, but there really isn't a need for it with the flamethrower and shotty both in the map IMO. Still, some variety would be nice I guess?

Give the mauler a faster rate of fire to keep it from just being a weak shotgun.

I did ask a while ago. We do have a ripped one but go ahead and model it and if you can get it nicely textured then I may use that instead.
