as much as my opinion will be completely ignored.
Having rails on that style of shotgun just does not mix in my opinion.
Seriously, why would a spartan have rails on his/her/its weapons when most of the targeting equipment is done via the helmet display?

helmet
reticle/sight
helmet display.

The ONLY thing i can think that would work is a laser dot on the underside of the gun or to one side out of the way not on top.
the pictures i have seen of this shotgun makes me want to regurgutate my morning breakfast.

Keep it high detail but also keep it simple.
