Copy both strings.dll and versionchanger.dll to your halo folder. Overwrite the original strings.dll with the new one.

Nope, now it says strings.dll is missing when I try to start up CE. It won't even load.

Well, it will still be 1.08 exe. I havent played on 1.00 servers but with my version changer I went and tried 1.00, theres a TON of european servers. I get like 124 ping or less so I'll use 1.00 servers more, however I will only use 1.08 exe.

Well, he (Masters) said that having it use OS would make all the people not using 1.08 unable to play it. But if OS had a version changer, then all the people who play on different versions could just change the version to join their servers.

From what I heard, the people on 1.00 who don't have legitimate copies need to play on special cracked servers which don't check the CD hash. If they tried to change their version to 1.08, the servers would just refuse them.

Yes that's exactly what happens.
I downloaded it and tried.
So all of them will never update.

Maybe Omega updated the Halo PC version only? I can't be install hpc right now to check since i'm down to like 600MB of free space.
