You really need some kind of qualification (be it an apprenticeship or a degree) to make yourself attractive to Employers these days. Not going for one is just setting yourself up for shit later, from what I've heard.

qft. Though, practical experience trumps any formal degree, and always will. Except in nuclear physics or what not.

edit: perfect storm = practical experience + cert/edu.

I still cant afford this 1,000 dollar Asus gaming laptop so I can run halo Pc at a good 300 fps rather than 20 fps... and other games that i want which i can't play on this laptop.

i think i had it backwards. see, i was taking it literally, assuming that you guys here were different than the obnoxious kids at my school that make a big deal out of stubbing their toe. i thought that the FML thread idea was to vent things that encompass your "life" and fuck it rather than "i stubbed my toe. fml"
