    Open Beta 2.0 released

Wandering Samurai Studios is proud to announce the official release of the MechWarrior: Living Legends Public Beta version 0.2.0. As announced earlier, we've teamed up with Fileplanet to bring to you the MechWarrior Reinforcement pack, a complete overhaul of the client and server files including all patches and fixes completed to this day PLUS quite a number of new features.

Again, our download page contains all information on where to find the files and what to do before installing. Also, keep an eye on the forums where we will certainly maintain an extended list of mirrors. If you're interest in what exactly changed since the last update, please check out the complete changelog.

Man. When my new computer arrives I'm installing this first.

Have you guys implemented more of the mech interiors? They were really ugly in PB1.

A big thank you to all of our fans for your continued support of MechWarrior: Living Legends!

    Enjoy.

“Set in a heavily eroded canyon, this expansive battleground has been cut by wind, water, and time. An intricate system of deep valleys funneling into a wide open center make for as diverse and deadly a killing field as can be found on Blackjack.”

SA_Mirage features numerous deep valleys, cliffs and rock outcroppings setting up a challenging battle arena for MechWarriors. The rugged terrain offers Battle Armour opportunities for both ambush attacks and reconnaisance roles. The map supports all of the vehicle types in MechWarrior: Living Legends. Multiple paths available between the two main base areas allow players to make a choice between engaging in the central battle area or flanking along an outside path.

Additional media for SA Mirage is available in the Media Gallery.
SA_Mirage will be included with many other assets and improvements in the upcoming MechWarrior: Living Legends 0.3.0 release.

Today, the MechWarrior: Living Legends team offers you another glimpse into the coming MWLL 0.3.0 update with a look at the new Inner Sphere Uziel.

The Uziel is a 50-ton Inner Sphere Medium ‘Mech that is adaptable to a number of battlefield roles. Depending upon the variant chosen, the platform can fulfill long-range fire support or mid-ranged harrassment.

More Images In the MWLL Media Gallery
    The variants are as follows:
    Uziel “Prime”
    1x SRM6, 2x PPC , 2x MG, S.Optics, Jump Jets, BAP
    Uziel “A”
    1x LRM5, 2x Lt.Gauss , 2x MG, E.Optics, BAP
    Uziel “B”
    1x MRM20, 2x RAC2, 2x MG, S.Optics
    Uziel “C”
    1x SSRM6, 2x LBL, 2x MBL, S.Optics, Jump Jets
You may note that the missile pod model remains the same regardless of the missile munitions package selected. This choice is intentional and intended to maintain the aesthetics of the platform. The Uziel also has a unique new feature that will we will not be showcasing in this article, you will need to wait until 0.3.0 for the final reveal.
The Uziel will be included alongside numerous other updates and enhancements in the upcoming MWLL 0.3.0 release.
