Okay, so I'm just posting here to state the obvious once again because I'm mad at animes after a short lived and "intelligent" debate in a Gmod server. Please ignore this post because its nothing that you haven't heard before:
People think that anime like Naruto and Bleach represent every anime ever.
People see one or twoepisodesseconds of dubbed Naruto or Bleach and draw their everlasting judgements on every anime ever.
"This animmays doesn't make sense why are kids flying and shit I don't like animes."
The cult-like fandom of these two anime lead these people to believe that these anime are considered the "best anime ever".
Said people wonder what the fuss is all about and eventually develop a bitter attitude towards anime in general.

The only thing that makes the animes stupid would be the fans imho, not the actual anime. What if Naruto or Bleach had only a fourth of the number of fans they have now? Would you still be detesting it? Also just show those people Haruhi then they'll get what anime is really like.

No, and I don't care if you like Haruhi or not. It's ONE show. Basing all animes off Haruhi is like basing all American animation off King of the Hill, or American movies off Evan Almighty. It's the same problem.Also just show those people Haruhi then they'll get what anime is really like.

Also, the whole stereotyping thing applies to everthing ever. What would you say if somebody told you they like African music? Chances are everybody would stereotype it just like anything else...
