EAX and hardware acceleration blow in Halo anyway. Some sounds become washed out, and the only thing that's actually improved is that Marines' voices echo in caves.

I agree. The software acceleration (I think it is?) sounds more spatial than the hardware acceleration.

Lmao I when I opened this map and heard the song I was like "Oooo Rick Roll"....I looked around to try to find the door or a hill or something, and than I looked up. Lol I was laughing for about 3 min. Gj guys great map!

so hey, a while back somebody decided to say "look i has h3mt beta" and sent me the map titled "retina_beta_1" via and truly thought i had forgotten how amazing this map is. needless to say, i have shown this to at least 5 of my friends and only one of them understood why its funny.
