No, the Forerunner tank was MUCH bigger. Bungie mentioned in the LE of H3 that it was larger than a Scarab, and the player would walk around the vehicle freely, dodging titanic Gravemind tentacles.
Awesomeness would ensue.

Cant you make it so that you DRIVE in 1st person?
I know that if you're using Skys the Limit, and you get in a vehicle and push the 1st person view button, then you'll be driving in 1st person!
Now it looks completely wierd in a regular warthog... or any other vehicle for that matter... but you can make a warthog, that, when you do the trick mentioned above, will put you in 1st person in the driver's seat. I think that warthog is in the map "Mini Stunt".

or you could just change the tags slightly instead of external apps
there's a function in the SEATS section of vehicle tags, just uncheck the thirdperson box

I was under the understanding you had to drive about in this forerunner tank blowing things up from what they said in the halo 3 LE.

This I will go with a medi center warthog.

I was thinking about it having sections which expand and unfold into maybe small turrets. So it would be a command post type thing. So it would be a large turret then when a button is pressed the vehicle is deleted and a turret spawned.

On this base you would be able to get medi packs and cover from enemy fire. So small shields would be generated around it, but they wouldn't cover the whole thing.

And it would have nice lights and stuff :P

I was thinking about a turret which paralized the target for a few seconds or drained their sheilds seeming as the vehicle would be medical based. :P
